Feedback from one of our clients.

Hello TractAir.

May I just take the opportunity to thank you regarding the Massey Ferguson tractor which had issues with the air compressor last Friday. It was much appreciated you sending one of you staff out to my Service Technician, Stuart, with the parts he required. First class service.

Kind Regards

Air Brake Systems that do not use moving linkages

I know that many of you are aware of our company already, but for those that don’t TractAir design and manufacture air braking systems for agricultural tractors and trailers.

Tractair Air Brake Systems do not use moving linkages

Tractair Air Brake Systems do not use moving linkages which can sometimes stick and prevent the trailer brakes from releasing. Our systems use reliable solenoid valves actuating the parking function and fully graduated service control valves.

Ordering the Air brakes option from TractAir gives you the opportunity of being flexible in terms the tractors specification. With typical lead times being approximately 1 week it means the Air Brake option does not have to be decided at the time you order the tractor. It also means you can order tractors from the factory without the outlay of the Air Brake option and people that want to buy stock or ex demo tractors only need to buy the Air Brake option if they really need it.

Fitting Service Now Available
We now offer a fitting service, so if you need a good quality service, we can fit the system for you at your premises.

Sales
The ability to offer these kits as an option, gives you greater flexibility when you purchase or sell a new or used tractor or trailer.

Contact
Please contact us at any time if you want to know more about our company. We have air brake systems available for many more makes and models and we will be happy to help you with your air brake requirements.

A major route through Devon has been closed in both directions after a collision between a lorry and a tractor.

The crash occurred on the A30 between Cheriton Bishop and Tedburn St Mary at about 08:00 BST.

Fire crews had to free the trapped drivers from their vehicles.

One of the male drivers was taken to hospital by land ambulance and the other airlifted to hospital, Devon and Somerset Fire Service said.

Lamma Show 2014

The countdown has begun for the Lamma Show. As we begin our journey, the vehicles, stand, literature, merchandise and technology is all loaded and ready for the start of another great offering of Air Brake Systems.

TractAir today is a busy hive of staff and collegues, readying their sections for what is to be a busy show. The return of our good friend Rod Bentley is heading up the team with his expertise in this area. Rod’s experience and versitility is a great help to TractAir Ltd. This will be his 10th show as leader and if we get the same results as last year, the team will be very happy.

This years show is expected to exceded last years figures in all areas. We look forward to being worn out and sleepy by the end of the week. Stefan (Our International leader) was quoted as saying “It will be the best earned bacon sandwich, ever”. So I dont know about you but I beleive that means that the sarnies are on Stafan.

Good luck to all the staff and our colegues. We look forward to seeing all our clients, present and new at the show.

A fantastic year for the Humber ends on a high.

A fantastic year for the Humber ends on a high

A message to Bondholders from our Chair Peter Aarosin
As we enter the festive season and 2013 draws to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and for being such great ambassadors for this region.
Despite challenging economic conditions it’s been a fantastic year for the Humber with investments reinforcing our position as the UK’s Energy Estuary, businesses choosing the Humber because of the connectivity our ports and space to grow – whether it’s within the UK’s largest Enterprise Zone or at shiny new business parks such as Bridgehead. I just want to underline again that your contribution is absolutely vital and really makes a difference to our work to market the region in order to attract investment and create jobs.
On behalf of the team and the Advisory Group, I wish you and all your colleagues and families a very merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous 2014.

Telling a consistent Humber story
Work to established a clear and powerful proposition for the Humber as the UK’s Energy Estuary has paid dividends and is being used consistently to underline the Humber’s strategic importance to the UK economy, from briefings with Government Ministers, the opening of the UK’s biggest bioethanol plant, to telling the Humber’s story on Radio 4 World Tonight, BBC Newsnight and being used as the backdrop for the signing of the Hull and Humber City Deal agreement with Cities Minister Greg Clark.

Illustrating the UK’s Energy Estuary
8,500 UK Energy Estuary maps have been distributed so far, from the UK’s largest commercial marine and workboat event, Humber Port visit to Rotterdam, Renewable UK Offshore Wind Europe conference and it has been used by many Bondholders, particularly recruitment companies, to help position the region. Please contact us if you have opportunities to use this quirky illustration.

3rd out of 75 in UK Social Media Index 2013
We’re pretty proud at being ranked 3rd out of 75 in this year’s UK Inward Investment Social Media Index ahead of London & Partners, Liverpool and Manchester. Next year we’re knocking Business Birmingham off the Number 1 spot.

Contribution towards winning UK City of Culture 2017
Bondholders played a key role in rallying the business community fully behind Hull’s bid, which is one of the key reasons Hull won the UK City of Culture 2017 title, specifically through the Hull 2017 Angels iniatitive.
The 22 local businesses who helped make it happen are; ABP, Baker Tilly, BP, East Trans, F&T Vending, Force-7, Gosschalks, Hull College, Hull Daily Mail, Hull Kingston Rovers, KC, Keepmoat, Nagra Properties, Neill & Brown, Premier Galvanizing, Spencer Group, St Stephens, The Deep, University of Hull, Vivergo Fuels, William Jackson Food Group and Wykeland.
Bondholders also worked with Hull’s City of Culture team to produce an illustrated culture guide, which formed part of the bid document. Contact us if you are able to distribute them through your networks.

Helping Bondholders to sell the city alongside the job on offer
4,140 hard copies of Your Life in Hull and East Yorkshire and My Life in Hull and East Yorkshire which is more for yound professionals, have been used to help Bondholders recruit employees from outside the area in 2013 – whether it’s attracting dentists, premiership sports players, teachers, chemical engineers, scientists or senior professionals – to help drive the region forward. Please contact us if you want hard copies of the brochures.

Welcoming students and families to the region
Students starting out at the University of Hull this year were welcomed to the city by Bondholders, conversations reached an audience of 707,000 on Twitter. Bondholders reached around 7000 prospective University students at open days to persuade them that Hull is a great place to live as well as study and welcomed around 11,5000 graduates and their families at graduation ceremonies for both the University of Hull and Hull College Group.

Mapping our fabulous food region
2,000+ maps illustrating how the region is a vital food producer for the UK have been distributed so far, from a food & drink conference in Cologne, as well as being used by Visit Hull & East Yorkshire’s conference team to attract events to the area and at the Humber Seafood Summit which attracted 150+ delegates from across Europe. Please contact us if you have an opportunity to use the map.

Making the Humber count in the eyes of the nation
Bondholders have achieved national media coverage spanning the BBC, Financial Times, Sky News, The Times, The Independent and many other media outlets. A highlight has been a special supplement in The Times reaching a highly influential audience of 1.5m through the newspaper and partner communications, which got responses from Energy Secretary Ed Davey and Cities Minister Greg Clark recognising the contribution of the Humber to the UK economy.

Events attracting 180-320 senior business people
Bondholder breakfasts continue to be a great way of gaining insights into new initiatives and developments, as well as building connections, attracting 180 people on average and 320 people during Business Week. Nicola’s favourite has to be ‘Have I Got News for You Humber special’ that launched Business Week (although its causing sleepless nights trying to think of something for 2014!) whilst Leahann’s hard work paid off in a memorable event showcasing our food region whilst guests watched show jumping in Bishop Burton College’s impressive Equine Arena.
